Fabric Minecraft Server Hosting
Fabric is the lightweight way to mod Minecraft Java: a small loader, fast updates to new Minecraft releases and some of the best server performance mods available. Run it on AMD Ryzen 9 nodes with NVMe storage, automated backups and DDoS filtering.
- Fabric Loader and Fabric API
- Server-side performance mods like Lithium and FerriteCore
- Fabric modpacks from Modrinth and CurseForge via the installer
- Players can join with a Vanilla client when mods are server-side only
Included on every Minecraft plan
- AMD Ryzen 9 CPU nodes
- NVMe storage
- 1 Gbps uplink
- DDoS filtering at no extra cost
- Automated backups
- File manager, console and FTP access
- Switch server software from the panel
- Ticket and Discord support
Our active locations are Miami and Dallas in the United States, which suit players across North America and Latin America. Players in Europe can connect, but ping will be higher than on a server hosted in Europe.
Pick the RAM your server needs
Every plan runs on the same Minecraft Java infrastructure, so the only choice is memory. You can start small and upgrade the plan as your server grows.
Why choose Fabric for your server
Lightweight loader
Fabric Loader adds very little overhead. A Fabric server with a handful of mods behaves much like Vanilla, so smaller plans go further.
Fast version updates
Fabric and its most popular mods usually support new Minecraft releases quickly, often with snapshot builds before the full release.
Server-side only mods
Many Fabric mods run only on the server. Players join with a normal Vanilla client — useful for public servers and for friends who do not want to install mods.
Vanilla mechanics kept
Performance mods such as Lithium aim to keep Vanilla behaviour intact, which matters for technical players and redstone farms that break on other server software.
Popular server-side Fabric mods
These mods are commonly installed on Fabric servers and do not require players to install anything:
| Mod | What it does | Needed on the client? |
|---|---|---|
| Fabric API | Core library that most Fabric mods depend on | Only for mods that also run on the client |
| Lithium | Optimises physics, mob AI and block ticking without changing Vanilla behaviour | No |
| FerriteCore | Reduces memory usage | No |
| C2ME | Speeds up chunk generation and loading using more CPU cores | No |
| spark | Profiler that shows what is using your tick time | No |
| Chunky | Pre-generates the world to avoid exploration lag | No |
| Carpet | Rules and tools for technical and redstone players | No |
Always download the version of each mod that matches your Minecraft version and Fabric API.

How much RAM does a Fabric server need?
| Server | Suggested RAM |
|---|---|
| Vanilla+ with performance mods · 1–10 players | 2–4 GB |
| Technical SMP with large farms · 10–30 players | 6–8 GB |
| Fabric modpack · 50–150 mods | 6–8 GB |
| Large Fabric modpack · 150+ mods | 8–10 GB |
Estimates only — check the numbers for your setup with the RAM calculator.
Versions and Java
Fabric supports Minecraft 1.14 and every release after it. Servers on 1.20.5 and newer need Java 21 or newer, while 1.18 to 1.20.4 use Java 17.
Quilt, a fork of Fabric, can load most Fabric mods. If you are unsure whether a crash comes from a version mismatch or a missing dependency, paste your latest.log into the log analyzer.
Set up or move a Fabric server
Choose Fabric or a Fabric modpack
Select Fabric as the server type, or install a Fabric pack from Modrinth or CurseForge with the modpack installer.
Add your mods
Upload server-compatible mod versions into the mods folder with the file manager or FTP, together with Fabric API.
Bring your world over
To migrate, upload your world folder and config folder from the old server, keeping the same Minecraft version.
Start and check the log
Fabric lists incompatible or missing mods at startup. Fix those, then share your address with players.
